Casements Camera Club 6th Annual Spring Exhibit Ormond Beach Performing Arts 15 Ðâ¸ã‘å½ãâ½ã‘â

The Casements Camera Club recently awarded the winners who participated in the seventh-almanac Spring Photo Showroom at the Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center, and the winning images will exist on show in the e display example at the Ormond Embankment Regional Library for the residual of this calendar month.

OBPD partners with Ring

The Ormond Beach Police Department is now on the Neighbors app past Ring to provide the community with real-time crime and condom information, co-ordinate to a city printing release.

This will allow OBPD to request and receive photos, videos and information from those who download the free app to their smartphones. Residents can text "obfl" to 555888 to download the app and join their neighborhood. Ormond-by-the-Sea Lions Society do proficient deeds in June

The Ormond-past-the-Sea Lions Society kept decorated with philanthropic efforts during the month of June, from performing over 35 blood screenings at the Volusia County Hurricane Expo to feeding 186 homeless individuals at the Bridge of Hope in Daytona Beach.

The Lions Club likewise conducted its installation of officers for the 2019-2020 twelvemonth. Ormond Embankment Lions have new president

The Ormond Beach Lions Club installed its new president for the 2019-2020 Lions year in a special ceremony on June 26.

King of beasts Patti Koch will take over for outgoing president Panthera leo Al Legg. This Lions Social club serves the Ormond Beach and Holly Hill community, providing eye exams, retina scans, eyeglasses, centre surgeries and hearing aids for those who can't afford them. Koch serves on the staff at the Eye for the Visually Impaired in Daytona Beach, co-ordinate to a press release.

Rotary Club turns two

The Rotary Social club of Downtown Ormond Beach marked its second anniversary with the induction of a new president.

Make Perry was sworn in during a celebration at Ormond Brewery by Future Commune Governor Rich Cooper and outgoing president Becky Parker. The new

Board of Directors was also sworn in at the event. Perry is a partner at Raposa, Perry, Young accountants, and his partner, Don Young, likewise became the President-elect of the Rotary Club of Ormond Embankment.

Under Parker'south leadership, nine new members were recruited and more than $15,000 was raised to support the club's charitable projects, according to a press release. This included building an outdoor classroom, garden projects and hosting a reading buddies plan at Ormond Beach Simple, as well as cleanups and painting the Pace Center for Girls. Donations were made to Provision Packs, Male child Lookout Troop 468 and Addiction Treatment Advocates.
